The MAXIMA VMC-1160 is built for large-part machining and mold-making. Its 1,100×600×600 mm work envelope accommodates oversized workpieces, while the 11 kW spindle and 30-tool ATC deliver the power and flexibility required for heavy industrial production.
Heavy-Duty Construction
Meehanite cast iron base and column with FEA-optimized ribbing absorbs vibration and ensures ±0.005 mm positioning accuracy on large parts. Box ways on all three axes provide superior damping compared to linear guides for heavy cuts.
Mold-Maker Friendly
The 70 bar through-spindle coolant system (standard) is essential for deep-cavity mold machining, while optional Heidenhain TNC 640 controller provides 5-axis simulation and advanced mold-making cycles.
